The village of Lauzun is located north of the french department called Lot et Garonne, in the Aquitaine region. The Dropt river separates Lauzun from Périgord (Dordogne), and crosses Guyenne, which is dotted with many country houses and villages of characters such as Monpazier, Villeréal, Castillonnès, Eymet, La Sauvetat du Dropt, Allemans du Dropt, Duras or Monségur.
